Romance author, Sharon
Sala, who also writes under the pen name of Dinah McCall, is a woman on a
mission. From her earliest days, she loved to read. Her first
favorite author was Zane Grey, a man who created male characters in his
westerns who were noble, strong, and enduring. The kind of men who
would willingly sacrifice themselves, even their chance at love and
happiness, just to do the right thing. And while her tastes in reading have changed, she still likes strong, noble men who do the right thing, only she doesn't just read about them, she puts them in her own books. Those same books have garnered critical acclaim throughout the romance industry, as well as with her readers. Proof that she, too, is doing the right thing. During the past few years, Sharon's personal life has changed, but the things that still matter in her life are steadfast. Her daughter married, became a teacher, as well as the mother of a little boy, and her son and his wife are busy raising their three little girls too. Sharon's grandchildren are a constant source of her delight. They don't know, nor do they care, that their grandmother has quite a reputation as an author. Their priorities lean more toward an endless supply of cookies and a place in her lap with the storybooks she's always willing to read. Sharon calls herself a dreamer, but her readers claim otherwise. They claim she's a genie with the written word, and that when she writes she makes magic. They love her unique voice, as well as the intense, emotional stories filled with suspense and intrigue. One reader has even names her the "Reba of romance" and swears that each book she writes is better than the last. Sharon's philosophy is simple. The more you have, the more you must give, and that includes love. Give and it will be returned to you one hundredfold. Look at Sharon Sala from any angle and she's likely to be smiling, because in spite of life's setbacks and heartaches, she knows life is precious. Live it. Treasure it. Never take it for granted.
